Conveyor Idlers
Conveyor idlers are vital conveyor components, supporting the weight and impact of bulk materials along the conveying process. Conveyor idlers also protect the conveyor belt from stretching, belt sag and facilitates a smooth and seamless movement of bulk materials along the conveyor belt.
Trough idlers consists of a central fixed idler roll and two idlers on each side of the central idler. Traditionally, there are two main types of idlers, carrying and return idlers.
Conveyor idlers are designed to provide ample conveyor belt support, full & superior belt support where it is most needed, at the critical conveyor transfer point.
Suitable for all bulk materials handling applications K-Retractable Idler/Impact Frames allow conveyor rollers to be changed under conveyor transfer loading chutes without the idler frames being laid down or removed. The bottom bracket remains aligned whilst the upper bracket of the base is retracted exiting from the side.
The K-Retractable Idler/Impact Frames range cover all belt widths and trough angles, in-line or offset configurations.
K-Return Disc Idlers operate by utilising durable rubber or polyurethane discs positioned at regular intervals to effectively eliminate roller build up by breaking up the material which is normally in the centre of the belt. These discs are bunched together at both ends of the idler to provide support and protection to the belt edges. Easily cleaned, the K-Return Disc Idler is a low maintenance reliable solution to this common conveyor problem.
